Video Camera Stations

COEX™ 3000 camera stations are fitted with a high quality, high resolution 1/4” CCD zoom camera module with autofocus, as standard. Featuring exceptional low light and outstanding night vision performance under infrared, mechanical filters also ensure vivid daytime colour, with sharp focus. CCD zoom modules deliver up to 36x optical plus 12x digital zoom on high-performance models – ensuring crisp, bright detailed pictures from the most challenging environments.

Almost any transmission method can be accommodated within the Ex d housing – allowing critical savings on supplementary Ex d enclosures. All versions are capable of having an integrated H.264 video encoder to convert analogue cameras to IP status, as an option. High Definition, Megapixel and fully integrated IP camera options are also available, together with 1/3” CCD cameras, for extreme low light conditions.

Thermal Camera Stations

After developing the world’s first explosion protected thermal cameras, Synectics is now delivering industry leading performance at affordable prices, with its most advanced camera stations yet.

Featuring long wave, 3rd generation amorphous silicon microbolometer technology, COEX™ 3000 thermal camera stations can operate day or night – in total darkness, through dense smoke and fog and in extreme weather conditions – detecting intruders or personnel at ranges of up to 1km. COEX™ thermal imaging cameras produce images where conventional cameras cannot – differentiating between hot and cold objects, making them ideal for monitoring tank levels, faults and oil spillages, leaks and ice detection, as well as flare monitoring and wide area surveillance.

COEX™ 3000 thermal camera stations also feature a programmable ‘colourisation’ capability – allowing parts of the image above (or below) a preset temperature to be clearly distinguished.

EExd Variants

Video- COEX™ FECH camera stations incorporate the highest quality day/night camera modules available.

Thermal & TriMode - Operating day or night, in total darkness or through smoke and fog, COEX™ thermal and dual imaging video/thermal camera stations can be used to detect intruders or personnel, even at long ranges.

IR Lamp - Allows daylight camera stations to operate in dark or very low-light conditions, where discrete 24 hour monitoring is required.
